Basix Rubber Works 6 Inch Dong Flesh

I bought this for butt play about a year ago because it was my first dildo and I didn't want to spend a lot and end up with crap ... Right out of the package it had the funkiest smell ... like a cross between baby powder and rubber. So bad that storing it in my top dresser draw caused any clothing item there to stink of the same smell. So it was stored in a plastic zip-lock bag and not used very often. It was washed with a mild non-bacterial hand soap in cold water and dried after each use. Yesterday, I noticed that it had changed color, like it had bleached out after being left in the sun ... strange, since it never saw the light of day. The bag it lives in isn't peach colored. But this dong is now almost white (instead of flesh colored)! What happened to the coloring pigment? Did it break down? Is this toy safe anymore? Lesson I learned from this ... do yourself a favor and buy yourself a nice, high quality silicone dildo.
